RNI have saved me these filters are amazing and much better than VSCO

I’ve used RNI for a couple years now until just recently, when they suddenly put certain effects (like vintage lens) behind their premium paywall. Nope from me, uninstalled.

I held onto my old iPhone so I can keep using this app even though I upgraded to a Google Pixel.<br/>I have been using this since it was released and it just continues to quickly add a lovely film quality to my images. No overthinking. I love this app.

I saw a video about it in YouTube and decided to try it. Really impressed at how simple it is to use. I only downloaded the free version to try it but it’s definitely worth buying.

Dealbreaker for me is this app cannot export in HEIF format. It takes my beautiful 10-bit HEIF photos and crushes them into 8-bit JPEG. Need HEIF export option. Still gets 4 stars for being good at what it does.

This is what VSCO should be, but they became greedy by removing basic features to the free account. I have no problem supporting RNI in buying new filter packs. keep up the excellent work.

The app forces you to give full access to your photos otherwise it won’t let you use it. And denies access. You can choose “limited” once. But after that, it forces you to use full access. Not a graceful app. Very ungraceful. Bad. Avoid.
