Very disappointed with this! Using on an iPad Pro, the user interface is confusing and not user friendly. Basically editing (such as adding and changing intro titles) does not seem to work. <br/><br/>The tutorials are disappointing and I find that the app is not easy to use. <br/><br/>Definitely would not recommend especially for beginners <br/>.

All I wanted was to edit a video with photos. It wasn’t intuitive at all. I was able to add a few seconds of black at the beginning. Next I wanted a purple screen with a title in white letters and never got beyond that. I just could not do it. This app is obviously designed for more complex editing objectives.

I’ve been on this app since the dawn of its birth. Been through the ups (many) and downs (too many).<br/><br/>I have a clients project trapped in this program and cannot export it for the life of me. Enough space. Same camera but does not export without giving me a fuss. I have tried a different quality, a different resolution. Everything and now I’m at the point we’re I may have to return their money due to me not able to export a FINISHED VIDEO. <br/><br/>All apps are close, enough space, nothing makes sense. There is a bug that has doomed this fantastic app for me to take this serious. PRO RES and Apple Log are dicey and may not play well. Constant freezing while payback is ridiculous on an iPhone 15 max Pro. <br/><br/>I will change this review once this is resolved. Till then, I may have to start this whole project all over on a different platform.<br/><br/>(RESOLVED)

App doesn’t work. Har to use and terrible interface experience.

28 June 2026 - Have been a long-time user for 5 years, maybe longer. I’ve had random crashing issues for the last year or two. Really wish they’d get that sorted. They are starting to charge for more and more updates/features. Definitely NOT signing up for a subscription, ever. There will be a learning curve at first, but good product overall. Just don’t like the direction they seem to be heading. Sticking with them for now.

I’ve edited tons of videos on different platforms, and honestly LumaFusion surprised me the most. The timeline is smooth, effects are easy to use, and it handles professional editing without feeling overwhelming.<br/><br/>What I love most is how fast and creative the workflow feels — especially for cinematic edits, reels, and YouTube content. The app runs incredibly well even on mobile devices and gives me freedom to edit anywhere.<br/><br/>For creators who want pro-level editing without the complexity of Premiere Pro, this is honestly one of the best editing apps out there. Highly recommended.
