If you want a working remote that is still supported, all this functionality is now in the google home app once you have added your device.

My android tv requires the use of this app for keyboarding and the app doesn’t work on my iPhone, so now I have no way of inputting keyboard to the tv. I can’t search or login in to apps. It’s terrible

It refuses to connect with my Google Chromecast every time I try and use it to fix the remote pairing issue so I have to factory reset my Chromecast every time
