Cancelling is an ADHD nightmare

by maryhoey88 · July 13, 2026

Sometimes I will download an app geared toward ADHD specifically to see how difficult they make it to cancel. This one was bad. The subscription is not present in your Apple subscriptions so you have to visit their website. You have to sign in separately for each “bundle” you agreed to trial. You have to click through nearly a dozen pages before you cancel. And then they log you out automatically so you have to login AGAIN to start the next part of the cancel process. I can’t help but feel like folks know money is to be made off the ADHD tax. Funny how easy, calm and CLEAR the intro quiz was compared to the cancellation process. Sucks cause I love the app design and would’ve signed up, but I don’t like companies that do this.

So far, so good.

I have just started, but I like the setup. I hope it works well for me.

New and fun

This app has so far been like a fun game to start forming habits instead of seeming like a chore.

Preparatory scam artists

by InstaducingMike · July 12, 2026

exploiting mental health for profit

This app is an absolute scam that ruthlessly preys on the very people it claims to help. I never agreed to a subscription, yet they illegally snatched $39.99 from my account back in February. Since then, they have been aggressively hounding my account almost every other day, desperately trying to steal more cash the exact second funds become available. They intentionally hide their billing so it doesn't show up in Apple subscriptions, using shady, underhanded loopholes to make it impossible to cancel. It is utterly disgusting and shameful for a "mental health" app to maliciously exploit and stress out vulnerable people for a cash grab. Fabulous is running a predatory billing trap and they should be completely ashamed of themselves. Give me my money back.

We're all walking each other Home. This app is a wonderful contribution to that cause 🤍🖤🤍

I really like fabulous. Unfortunately I do not have the funds to pay for it for a whole year right now. I will be coming back when I got the funds for it later. Thanks for the free trial!

Suspicious app

In some untrustworthy way wants to sign you for dozen of separate subscriptions and make it uneasy to unsubscribe
