Trips by Lonely Planet

Awesome app to share your travels experiences. It quickly traps you to read about others trips as well. <br/>I would only like to have it 100% compatible with the iPad. The pictures would look amazing.

This app is not very useful to me without a search function. I read developer comments on previous versions that said a search function had been added, but if so I can’t find it.

It’s not a bad app, but the search function needs to be put front and center, not hidden behind the discover section.<br/><br/>Also let us sort by most liked, it’s common sense.

I used the Lonely Planet book in China and it was phenomenal, 99% of the time it answered my questions, but the app wasn’t too helpful. I’m going on a trip to Quebec City with my girlfriend and I was hoping I could get an extra insight but it was useless for Quebec City. The interface was beautiful, but the search button is why I gave it three stars.

Trips is a must if you want to make the most of your stay or if your are looking for your next trip. It gives you the chance to explore a destination beforehand and advices you what to visit. All this is done in clear and beautiful posts from people all over the world. <br/>The use of pictures in combination with the short pieces of text make it appealing and easy to read.<br/>The only remark I currently have is that the search function is not working very well. It is rather hard to find articles of a certain destination. I would like this to be fixed in order to enjoy this essential app even more.

If you are actually interested in finding a trip you want to take or planning one, the Lonely Planet books are useful. This app is not. It is a disorganized heap of other people’s experiences. And I don’t want to log into their app.

Seems like a good app, however, every time I try to login with Google it says my email address is already taken … well no kidding, I have an account, let me login!

I can can only sign up through Facebook, Twitter, or Google??? Please tell me I'm just missing something, because this would be massively disappointing.
