8 of 25Don't know which resulting system error in roadmap and no progess even after finishing the session practice recommend and stucked in same lession . I hope you will fix this Asap.
I’ve used this app for years but recently there have been so many bugs- I’ve found many incorrect pronunciations and there are no longer abilities that there used to be. Previously, you could tap on a word and be shown the definition/grammar/audio pronunciation. Now even if you highlight a word manually- it doesn’t always give a definition and if it does, it is not always correct. Before, you could get sentences easily translated and explained either a single tap. There is also a lack of correct audio playback and no option for audio pronunciation in the dictionary (used to be). The note button also blocks words in the explanation section of tests and practices. Seems like poor implementation of ai or a new database system. Disappointing overall - especially having been a paying member for years and now the app is misleading for learners
Having multiple levels of JLPT certifications, I can verify there are multiple errors in questions and answers and most of the content is not level appropriate by by any means. Seems like low quality AI generated content with low effort prompt restraints.
I bought the lifetime for this a couple years back. It has gone downhill (with probably AI usage, great, make it garbage thanks to AI). Highlighting words is so difficult (used to be able to highlight and get a translation on the spot). Often times using the “explain” to explain an answer is so hard to expand the box to even see it, it’s easy to skip the last answer of quizzes (no confirmation if you want to continue) so you end up missing that answer (especially common on the texts). It’s just… so much worse I can’t really recommend this app anymore. I often feel like some translations while tricky, are a little too tricky (like using やる versus もらう) but without a bit more context either is fine. I think AI has made some of these answers, explanations, or questions so it starts to become misleading. This used to be a solid 4/5 app, now it’s barely 2.
The whole chapter of the app in “Theory” dedicated to grammar is simply disappeared. It was very helpful, now I’m not sure if I want to keep my subscription.
Honestly, I wish I found out about this app a long time ago when I first started learning Japanese. This app has it all; theres much material to go off of with quick results, questions and exercises similar to that of the real test, and the deal I got for premium made the experience even more delightful. I love this app so much, my Japanese has improved so much since using it.
when i try to tap on a kanji from the sentence, it often shows the first kanji in the sentence instead. also, if you tap detail after tapping on the word, you can’t access the individual kanjis or the other tabs that should be at the top. they’re all blurry
I love the iPhone App and I find it’s pretty good on the Mac as well. Mostly because the extra size is very handy. I have a lifetime membership. So I can’t say anything to the bugs about that. But they did make it easier to change your subscriptions if you changed devices a lot.
