Simply Plural

We've been using sp since early 2022, it was the first official system thing we ever did. It helped us to keep organized and it helped us not be in denial etc. It was a wonderful app and I'm truely sad to see it go, it's been with us through these 4 years but this is the end of the era. Goodbye simply plural, thank you for all you've done for us.

Very easy to use but on Mac Is sort of hard to navigate and scroll and stuff. Other than that I enjoy using this app. I like the statistics used here too because It helps me manage my system more and see the times and lengths of our fronts.

opened the app for the first time and it tried to force me to make an account. I started up PluralLog and it never asked me for a bit of personal info, going to be using that one instead.

First it was “I’m overwhelmed, I’m taking a break but I’ve confirmed with SPECIFICALLY octocon’s dev that people can move there”. Next it was “oops, octocon shut down as soon as I said that. Oh well!” Now it’s “the entire app is shutting down, I’m bricking it”. Absolutely unprofessional, absolutely careless. No other devs were talked to? No teams sought out to assist or take over the work? Just “if I can’t be the only one getting credit, I don’t want anyone else to be able to use it”. Absolutely gross. Just spitting in the faces of the only people who made the app have any use other than decoration.

To say that I’m sad to see Simply Plural go is a massive understatement. I have been using the app for a few years now and there has been no other app that has helped me more in terms of plurality than Simply Plural, and I don’t know if I will ever find another app that’s so easy to use and easy to organize. Thank you SP for always being such a reliable application.
