They don’t have any 24x24 grids anymore, expect maybe once or twice a week. <br/><br/>Updates have not delivered any significant improvements or features over the years. They’re just not trying.

I’ve had this app for YEARS. Back in the day Starbucks used to have these cards with promo codes to get certain paid apps for free and this was one of them. I love this crossword app. Easily the best one out there. <br/><br/>But then they stopped supporting this one because they have a different one you can pay for and they never decommissioned this, thankfully. <br/><br/>I do use the Hints feature on some of the harder puzzles and I really wish they’d stop using OneAcross.com which is basically just a spam ad site and now it doesn’t even give you the hints. <br/><br/>I wish they’d support this app again, it’s the best no frills crossword app.

Latest versions no longer load the LA Times puzzles. Why? What happened?

I have had this app on both my iPhone and iPad for several years now and I love it. Recently the app on my iPad got messed up so I deleted it and reinstalled. The options gear was missing on the reinstall and I was unable to change the settings to my liking. I contacted Customer Service (Ben) who investigated the issue and created an update to fix it. I’m a happy Crosswords Classic geek again!

Used for years but last update deleted all this years puzzles I had planned on doing. Never update again.

Original (5-star review): There's really no contest among iPad crossword apps. This one's the best by far. The daily stream of top-flight puzzles makes it well worth the price, and the interface is the best in the business - even better than the NY Times app.<br/><br/>New review (one-star): For many months now, every other time you click on the help button the app crashes. This problem has NOT been fixed, despite many, many complaints by users. I really want this app to go back to being the best crossword app on the iPad, but as it is now I cannot recommend it to anyone. Please fix that bloody bug!!

This is my favorite crossword app. It has tons of daily crosswords &amp; is free with no ads.

I love this app but the shrinking supply of puzzles is a concern. Many of my favorite titles no longer seem to be available. Is anything being done to increase the supply?
