Good app, but there are better

by Renkuohai · September 30, 2010

I used this app for almost a year straight, learning thousands of Chinese words. It works, but I had bug issues with importing word lists and looked elsewhere. Oh man it kills me how many hours I spent on this app when there was one better all along: deluxe flashcards by orangeorapple (dot) com with quizlet integration is 100x better and works great on a computer too. I would have paid just for the knowledge of it's existence. To think my classmates actually wrote out vocal cards when I have thousands at my fingertips!

Forgot Password Link does not wrote.

I have a new Itouch and I want to sync flash cards on my new device. However I forgot my password. Every time I try to reset the password, it sends me to a page that says "Something went wrong". Please fix and I have a lot of flash cards that I don't want to lose :(

Time for an update

This app is not even retina on iPhone. Could be good with the ecosystem and crowd sourcing of card decks but needs an update badly to address ui and speed.

This is an ok program but I really want my money back. I've had it for a while now but it turns my computer into a fossil. I can't seem to do anything when it's open. I have a 2-3 year old mac that I spent top dollar on. This makes it like my 5 year old Dell. Takes forever to load a new card and like others have said sometimes it enters blank cards when you reopen it. No updates to it either. Did they just give up on this and offer no support/ updates? Very mad. I have a lot of cards on this and I can't use it because I'm assuming there is no performance updates for the new OS's. Do not waste the $5 if they won't respond to any of us or offer refunds to unsatisfied customers. If things change… I'll fill you in.

Do not buy was waste of money

Life saver

I'm a first year veterinary student, and as much of the initial curriculum is brute force memorization I wanted a tool to help me review and retain material that was faster and more portable than old fashioned index cards. Reading some reviews online led me to this app, which has delivered everything that was promised: a basic, inexpensive, highly functional flashcard program. I've found the interface to be very adaptable and simple to use. The ability to add pictures to cards is hugely beneficial. I give this app a large amount of the credit for my good grades first semester, and I intend to get several more years of heavy use out of it! My only real wish for the app would be the ability to adjust the resolution of uploaded images, as sometimes I want to highlight a feature on a large or complex image. That's a minor gripe, however, and I would highly recommend this program to those looking for a straightforward and flexible flashcard tool.
