8 of 25I wish I could transfer the list from my iPad to my phone on the app.
I can't figure out how to do it and all of a sudden if I try to change the color, the only choices I have are gray shades and I'm really disappointed because I don't like it

but overall, the app has been my favorite for many years

I don't use any other shopping list app
Even though this app hasn’t been updated in years, it’s still the best! I use it daily and have tried all the other apps available and nothing is as simple and intuitive as ShopShop. I keep all of my needed items in several separate lists as well as details like dimensions about things that I have or need. It’s awesome and no BS about it.
I’d subscribe to it in a heartbeat just to keep it going and updated. I suspect the developer does an unannounced fix every now and then to keep it going as a couple of new iOS’s broke it in the past but it did start working again in time. Or if not then this is one well designed app!
2025 Update: I still use this app daily. So it’s been over 10 years now. The app has no glitches. I use it as a general “task list” — and not just for groceries / purchases.

The way I set up the lists is to have these categories: “To Do” (with “To Call’s” included), “To Buy”, “To Research”, and my “Focus List”. Since one can move items on a list to another with a couple taps, it’s easy to set up my Focus List every day.

See my older review below for a more detailed review:

This app is simple and straightforward, with just enough features to make it quick to operate. It’s the go-to shopping list on my iPhone.

I use this “Shop Shop” app primarily for grocery, department store, and/or online shopping - sometimes creating separate lists for each. But you can use it to make a list for any task you can think of, as I sometimes do.

As far as features: you can give each list a title and choose the background color. The app allows you to modify or delete a chosen entry with two taps. You can also re-order the items on the list by tapping and holding, then sliding an entry up or down.

In the options section of the app, you can select that your phone doesn’t go to sleep (screen doesn’t turn black), so you can walk around the store and reference your list, without having to “wake up” your phone over and over. There are a few other practical features that I won’t go into as you’ll discover them readily as you experiment with and eventually start to use Shop Shop.

I’m very happy I stumbled upon this shopping/task list app years ago. It’s a keeper!
Highly recommended: 5-Stars!
Does not work on iPhone anymore
I’ve used this app for 4 or 5 years and it does everything I want it to. I looked at several other apps today but none of them were as simple & easy to use. It would be nice to be able to share it with my iPad but that’s not the end of the world. I also wish the developer would ditch the pastels & go back to brighter colors but again it’s not a deal breaker. As I said this is a simple, easy to use app & all it does is work.
Using for years. A real time saver. No frills.
A simple yet very effective shopping list.
This is one of my most used apps. I recommend it to everyone.
Recently it has started having trouble if your list is longer than what you can see on your page, sometimes it won’t let you scroll- otherwise I would give it 5 stars!! If it gets straightened out, I will update my review! Awesome ap!
