WiFiFoFum (WiFi Scanner)

This is definitely the most powerful wifi discovery app in the store. But it's more than I need and the list is not as easy to read as eWiFi (free). I really like how eWiFi lists open networks on top, with the very first thing being a color icon for whether the network is locked/unlocked. Since that's all I need I've switched to eWiFi even though I paid for this one.

I doubt that it's possible to triangulate a wifi spot or possibly map the location of that spot on an iPhone. You can however log where you found the signal.<br/><br/>Go 3G

With the new true rssi values this is a great survey tool. Does not replace full survey sw but great for it's purpose.

Best WiFi tracking app ever. I tryed WiFiTrack, and you couldn't even connect to a network within the app. With this you can do that and MUCH MORE!!! I heard that there was a bug that made iPhones blind to some WiFi networks. It really works! The radar is accually decent!! I love it. Buy it!!!

Like the title suggests I'm seeing nothing. I have a wireless router with wifi and just to be sure, I even went to starbucks and still absolutely nothing. I'll keep it on my iPhone for a while and hopefully they'll update.

I used to like this app. But the new version becomes VERY VERY bad. Here is why: If you use it to connect to your home wifi, it will send your network and GPS data to their server without any notice. You must disable &quot;Contribute&quot; to disable this behavior, but by default the contribute field is on. So before you can disable it, your data already been sent to the server. The author cares so little about user privacy. Apple should remove it from AppStore. <br/>DO NOT USE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great app. Would like csv export as well though.
