Background Refresh

by Elmore91 · December 3, 2015

Have had this app for a year or so, my only problem with it so far has been not having background refresh as a thing, even of you gotta charge 99 cents for it as an in app purchase id buy it, its a very needed feature and this is the best irc app on ios that ive seen.

Seems to disconnect when the scene locks

by mtimmsj · September 28, 2014

On my iPhone 6 when the screen locks the connection to the server drops when other connections to other servers in other apps stay up.

Needs bouncer support

by Camtron88 · January 18, 2015

When connecting to ZNC, the appropriate server status is shown, and private messages are passed, but the channels joined do not open in Limechat. Unusable app for me

Excellent

Excellent app, just check a bug on iOS 26.1, every time you send a message the keyboard “jumps”.

Channels

It appears that the only way to find/join a channel is to painfully scroll down a listing of thousands of channels. No search feature.

Great app, few suggestions

Love LimeChat (also use it on macOS).

The only thing I would love to see is support for hardware keyboards (like on the iPad Pro) - for some reason the chat pane scrolls up even though no soft keyboard is displayed or desired.

Best IRC App for iOS

by SyrinxofTemple · October 27, 2014

Very sleek and efficient. I have used this for a long time and have always loved it. I wish there were more commands for the user-list, but that is not a big problem. If you want a clean, straightforward and efficient IRC app, use this. Other apps are more technical and advanced, but this one has been the most reliable and well performing.

Great!

Happy to see this app get an update and get a background reconnect feature.
