8 of 25I enjoy using the app but a lot of features seems to be limited to the website. I feel it would be super useful to have an interactive map that you can click on to find resorts by state/region/country. For me, if I want to plan a trip and find the best option for either a solo or family trip I still have to visit the website. To me this seems like an easy fix.
Does not include any of the 24 ski areas in Greece
Update: the lift status is not accurate at all. Not sure where info is being pulled from if it doesn’t even match the resorts website. Sugarloaf has one lift operating due to wind holds, and the app shows this place nearly fully running… HUGE FAIL that could really impact somebody’s day.
__________
Love the app’s ability to have a quick snapshot of all my favorite mountains. I’d like to see more added to these snapshots, so I can compare more information.
** You force me to keep notifications off because there is no way to select which type of notifications are received and I hate your app’s inbox garbage. I only care about fresh snow alerts, not promotional or irrelevant junk.
My go to site for powder hounding.
Great app for what I need to know.
Great app, love the “snow before you go” weather by Chris Tomer, but lately you can’t read it. Won’t work on the app or website, it opens up but closes down within seconds. Please fix!!!
Will say 11+ inches when the resort itself is predicting 3 inches. ?? Unreliable, better off with other sources
Awesome app. I don’t see what all the negative reviews are for, this app is free no mo/yr charges.
I used to be a big skier back in the 70’s early 80’s ( New England)not any more. I still like to keep up with the resorts and weather. The snowfall, weather and cams makes this app. I would add three things to update this app. 1) add an iPad app 2) Have an app sign in to sync all your saved data across all your devices. 3) Have the ability to edit the order of your resorts. This is an excellent app. You guys keep up the good work.
One other thing, If you guys were to offer a (pro) version I would suggest a minimal yearly fee under $20.00 and add some nice features like An Apple Watch app, widgets, extended snow forecasts and push notifications for new snow and powder.
