8 of 25Please update this app. It is
Very slow with ios4 new software
This is an awesome app. Too bad I didn't know about this a couple of weeks ago before I went and bought new remotes.

For those who ask, this does not control volume as it is not a learning remote! Make the tv manufacuters write an app to be a remote.
A little time ago I could have sworn we were told a universal app was being build (one that will have native screen on iPad) and have patiently awaiting this .. Most the other "big named" companies have started doing this... Can we have it, please!!!!?!!?
It needs work with re-awakening. When the phone goes to sleep and you come back into the app, it tries to restore the connection but often can't. If you try to reconnect and reconnect and reconnect it can't. Only exiting the app and re-opening it seems to reliably reconnect. This is a software issue that I'm sure they can fix if they put their attention to it. Other than that, it's a great app and it was worth the money. It would be nice if they made it so you could play programs from the Now Playing list. If you can do that I haven't figured out how.
Ha!... And you people who want Volume control for your TV's and rate all remote apps 1 star because they don't have this impossible feature*, are CLUELESS... you truly all crack me up. The iPhone is a WiFi/3G Device.. NOT an IR transmitter. Look it up. Please. You're embarrassing yourselves, your children, and the human race. I'm quickly losing faith in us as "intelligent" beings.

* IR transmission from the iPhone IS possible IF you purchase an after-market IR transmitter for your iDevive.
Needs a lit more work
So much cheaper (and cooler) than a new remote. Even works on the iPad as an iPhone app. Super awesome.
Works as advertised.
