I love this app! Would be great if it had "current" news, but it would require frequent updates. I took away one star because it would be great if there was a country compare feature and a search feature (i.e., highest GDP, best maternal survival rate, most overweight country, etc.)
I use this to learn about unfamiliar countries in the news, to educate myself and expand my knowledge, and, occasionally, I use it when I need help with my crossword puzzles. :-)
Superb overall, but the geographic size comparison of each nation to familiar USA landmarks would be appreciated in the manner that it used to be.
This is a fantastic app if you are interested in learning about the world. Once you buy the app initially, everything else is free as there’s no in-app purchases. Information on every country and territories’s history, economy, people, government, their flag symbolism and more is featured in an easy to access way.
This app is my go-to for all things international. Comprehensive information is easily accessible and well organized. If you only have limited time you can get the most relevant facts about a country quickly and easily and if you want more you can also read on to more in depth information. A must have.
There isn’t another good one on the entire store.
