X-Plane

Best flight simulator I've seen in a long time. Sure the other ones are a little expensive, but I'd gladly pay for them if my iPod had a little more space. Good job making this app!

Faster plane!

I really like the game but it just seems like the plane is flying so darn slow! I have the throttle all the way up and the flaps all the way down and it won't get over 70. Am I doing something wrong?

There should be a helicopter in the next update.

AppReview (unoffical)

by I was a fool · June 7, 2010

Now this is an updated review on the X-Plane Trainer App. For all of you nagging on the fact there is only one plane or the non optional instructions you guys really need to stop. I talked to the developer and he via email told me it was to encourage you to upgrade to the paid versions. Now i see there is alot of complaint about the cost of x-plane apps. I can see that because as of right now i dont have $10 for X-Plane 9. But you guys need to understand scripting for the ipod/iphone is very very difficult. Even the Ipad is easier to script for. There is a limit to how much an app can hold (notice more than 1 X-plane app). As far as my knowledge of app scripting, there probably is no physical way to improve the scenerey, so dont expect buildings or foliage (plants) or any other vechiles other than the 1 default AI plane that will fly around on it's own. What the dev can do is improve the plane, realism, and overall control of the sim. There are several apps, so choose the one you'll find yourself using the most.
