ColorSnap

I was hoping to try out colors on my house. Specifically my front door. I wanted dark red or navy blue. I picked those colors but the display on my picture shows a very light translucent blue and red. So I can’t get a good feel for what it would look like. I’ve played around to see if you can add layers to make the colors more rich but I don’t see that as an option. Nice app for trying out colors but not what I was looking for.

Colors are not even close to the actual color. So many glitches. I thought my virtual consultant would use this app so I could see what my house would look like with colors she recommended but wouldn’t work for her either.

I can't get it to work

Please don’t discontinue this app! It’s so much better than the new SW app which does nothing in comparison. I can paint walls virtually, build color palettes, and take a favorite photo or piece of art and pull colors to make a cohesive and beautiful color scheme.

The “paint a photo” option won’t give you the true version of a color, it will give you a washed out pastel version of the color.

This app is not easy to use and lacks the intelligence to properly disseminate between walls, lines, moldings. <br/><br/>Even when applying a color to a garage door, it kept making the entire door white and outlined the door with the selected color…barely even visible.

Waste of time.
