Great app worth every penny almost all complaints by other users on older versions are now fixed. But the latest update makes it crash on startup. I will rereview when this is fixed...

The developer stated clearly at his site that the family share is disabled and he does not think he need it allowed. Either the developer or Apple is responsible for managing the product description accurately. It is a very basic principle of a seller. <br/><br/>I think Apple has to clean up family share description across apps. It so very misleading and if so it would be better to disable family share all across and not to show it on app description. <br/><br/>Additionally the dictionary file import process description seems to be somewhat outdated. Using iCloud should be the first option. <br/><br/>So all in all the developer has to make more serious efforts to make those items as updated and accurate as possible as long as it is sold as a paid app.

Please fix this problem.

The software is amazing, but it would be perfect to have more choices of fonts for kanji, hiragana and katagana, not just the English fonts.

As far as I'm aware, this is the only Japanese dictionary app that allows one to upload one's own dictionaries, in EDICT or EPWING format. Pros: • It actually works. This is an ambitious app with a number of important features, especially dictionary uploads and dictionary groups. Cons: • Cluttered interface. Customization options are unnecessary and awkwardly implemented. The functions of some buttons are mysterious. • Buggy. I've loaded the Kenkyusha New Japanese-English Dictionary in EPWING format, and if this has been selected as a dictionary to search by default, then this app will crash upon launch. Resetting the app through the prefs and then manually re-enabling the dictionary allows it to work. This should not be necessary. Potential buyers should be aware that this does not do kanji lookup by stroke count, radical, etc. That would be nice, but I don't consider the lack of it to be a strike against.

I can load up my old electronic dictionary EPWING files and search them all at once, and copy text from them too. 5/5<br/><br/>I’m all the more amazed this exists since I seem to recall that all the EPWING readers on PC use a single bug ridden closed source x86 32bit Windows DLL that hasn’t been updated since the 90’s, yet this app can open every dictionary I throw at it, on 64bit ARM, and without a single crash or bug so far. <br/><br/>Keep up the great work!!
