8 of 25It's a fun way to practice your rummy skills only problem is it occasionally freezes but it's usually corrected by exiting and then coming back.
I grew up playing rummy with family and friends. Jokers and multiple decks were never used, this is not rummy.
edit: 29th nov 2012. there was an update this week. it said it was fixing bugs. but there is STILL a popup asking me to install some random free app and this popup is STILL making the entire game either run slowly or crash

if this was the lite version it wouldn't be so bad but it's the paid version - popup ads, regardless of whether they're for free apps - are UNACCEPTABLE. especially when they cause in-game issues.

the problem I have is that the gameplay on this - when it works - is still the best rummy around. I just wish the dev team would realize that it doesn't do well to annoy paid/paying customers by bombarding them with the very thing they paid to be rid of.

edit: 10th nov. the annoying popup (more accurately, pop under) is still there. it keeps asking me to download a free app. I PAID for this app to get rid of ads so this takes one star off the review.

then when I click to cancel the ad, the game comes back but runs really slowly, so slowly it can't be played at all. this loses it another star.

this makes me sad as this was by far my favorite iPhone rummy app, and I even liked the reboot, the new style is good.

but what's the use of a great game if you can't play it because ads are slowing it down so much? ads which you paid not to have....

not. impressed.

-----------(earlier review)---------
I liked the old version, I like the new version - the game's had a bump into the 21st century which is nice.

but... I keep getting asked to download some free thing. this pop up type thing stops the game to bug me about downloading free content. I don't give a crap if it's free, I use the paid version precisely to avoid irritating ads.

even worse, the ad also freezes the game. I hit the x to get rid of it and my game is either totally frozen or incredibly slow. usually I have to close the app, close it out from the running apps and open it again at least once, usually several times, to clear the glitch.

I enjoy the game so I hope the dev team reads this and ditches the stupid & buggy popup.
Great game
Dont waste your money dumbest version of rummy ive ever played
Love it
I love rummy but I paid for this game so I would NOT have annoying ads like the lite version. Well I haven't had any Ads until now! It keeps asking to download a game called squini. Please remove the ads! That's why we bought this ap!
Took a bit to get use to the rules but once I did, it has become one of my favorite card games on my iPhone :)
