This is what I was looking for....simple interface, easy and quick lookup for the daily metrics..

Useful and increased productivity

I showed this app to a friend of mine who does carpentry in his line of work. It saves his staff time when it comes to calculating measurements on the fly. They actually have an ipod touch with this app installed and share it at the shop lol.

Stinks!

"convenient dial" is baloney! Too sensitive even on x1. Glad I didn't waste $$. Deleting it & getting 1 that's friendly.

Coarse/Fine adjustment?

Suppose you want to convert a number in the thousands but don't want to sit there spinning and spinning the dial to get there? Easy! Just switch to 5X or 10X to get there faster, right? Except that you can't quite get the number you want at that speed. So switch back to 1X to close in on it! Except that switching to 1X resets the number to 0! Totally useless and non-intuitive.

Metric system without mm? Who works inches to meters?

Not much use on the smaller measures

This is a fun application. The new way to calculate. For a free application, it has a very nice interface.

this app is quite helpful
