8 of 25Game keeps crashing in 9.1. NEEDS an update please!
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME
This app is not only AWESOME, but it combines two types of games (action and strategy) so smoothly u cant help but love it.
MUST. BUY. NOW!!!!
The game itself is great fun. Actually more than the original I remember playing on my C64. The artwork is great, and I enjoy the minor storyline to the game.

For those who have never played the game think something of a mix between Chess and Gladiator combat. You move similar to chess pieces, but when you attack something you go into a combat mode where your piece has different abilities and levels / health, etc. It is a lot of fun.

The iPhone addition of using tilt for control is pretty neat, I like the idea. The implementation needs a little work though as it is very hard to control your character when they are moving an entire "block" at a time using the tilt. There is really no way to correct once you go slightly too far.

You don't have to use the Tilt, you can use the thumb controller on the left of the screen, but I actually found that even harder to control. It felt more like it lagged 2-3 seconds behind when I moved to when I saw the move on the screen.
Can't even get into the game. Waste of space.
This is not a strategy game because you can't skip moving, so it turns into a twitch game where you inevitably get drawn into a battle with bad odds and you get one-shotted. Who thought that was fun! Has promise though.
This is a great classic game!!
Archon 2 for ipod! Get on this soon.
Great gamplay controls are a little touchy but still alot of fun.
