8 of 25I got a few minutes into the game before it started to crash horribly... the worst crashes I’ve ever experience on a mobile phone game. The screen was locked and I couldn’t use my home button or even my lock button for about 30 seconds until the game shut down. Unplayable.
I have no idea if this is simply due to a new patch or update, but I have been unable to play any part of this game for the last few weeks. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and have the latest iPad iOS for my iPad Pro. Once the beginning cutscene is done playing, the game freezes on a black screen 100% of the time. Don’t bother purchasing until this is fixed...which may be never.
Ended up finding this game after playing partway through Beyond a Steel Sky and was curious about a prequel. While different voice actors everyone sounds similar. The development of the story is great even with 1994 graphics the story is compelling. Only issue I had was the app would sometimes crash when pulling up a hint.
Joey got stuck by the elevator and the glitch is saved into the game. I would have to start over and I’m not doing that. Ugh.
I think the game is amazing however I wish they would update it so it can run better and not force quit every time I need a hint. That’s all, simple as that.
Spent $3 on a game that crashes at the end of the (way too long) intro, can’t even get to the gameplay. Worthless, don’t waste your money.
Black screen after intro
Seriously, what’s the point in having an iOS game if I can’t sync the save files between my iPhone and iPad? <br/>Great game, but super annoying that I can’t carry the game from one device to another.
