8 of 25Manages to be worse than a cheap shooter in one of those "fifty in one" apps. Not worth three dollars.
I had this game when I was a kid playing with 1st nintendo system came out and other 64 others total.
You guys shouldn't be charging money for this game until the controls are fixed.
I loved this game back in the days. It is too bad who ever did the port really messed up. The controls are horrible. Please update this and fix the controls. In the mean time I'm going to play Siberian Strike, iFighter or maybe SkyForce.
I really wanted to like this game esp. since I love shmups like this, Galaga, Raiden, R-Type, etc., but the controls are too cramped for max enjoyment. There is lag, moreso when the action gets hectic, and the overall experience leaves much to be desired. I'd go with Space Invaders Infinity Gene for a better blastfest.
If you use iPhone, don't download it.

And if you use iPad like me, never.
I love these kinds of games, and I was very happy to see that Strikers made it to the iPhone. The gameplay is much better on the iPhone 4 than on my old 3G, but the controls still kinda bug me. There should be options for tilt controls or for just touching the plane to move it. Maybe make the d-pad bigger? Just suggestions. Other than that, it's a lot of fun.
Only complaint I have us the d-pad. It's not very responsive, especially with tons of ammo comming at you. You should update with either touch controls or a virtual analog control
