by C2daMFinJ · October 2, 2012

Can someone help? They're both on the same Wi-Fi.

It does simply what it's meant to but two features that would be GREAT would be:

1. have there be an option so you can see the full turntable instead of just half of it. It's easier to scratch when you have the whole disc visible.

2. Is it possible to have this compatible with the Numark Turntable for iPad/iPod Touch? It would be an AMAZING combination to have the Remote iPod hooked up to the Numark turntable while having the main source for the music on the Macbook.

Pathetic ...need iPad version

by Deweythedog · December 24, 2011

Clunky interface, overly simplistic buttons, buried access for iPhone are next to worthless on iPad. Djay is great but need a true iPad remote with similar interface as Djay for IPad to truly 'behind the bar' control systems running off MacBook, etc. common guys, you can do better than that - give us true remote DJ control instead of just next song loading and you will really have something worth $5.

Different from iPhone Version

by Mole555 · January 16, 2012

I have all the DJay apps: DJay Remote, DJay for iPhone, and desktop version. I thought they'd all function the same, but they do not. To control DJay playing on my desktop with the "Remote" app, you can only view half of one turntable in portrait mode. Landscape mode is not available. Makes it difficult to see what's playing. You'd think that landscape mode would be a natural setting to help see two turntables. The DJay app for iPhone does it, why can't this app offer this? Just sayin'.

Hard to connect

by oneoverzero · January 1, 2013

I got it to connect finally. It did not work with local wifi from my computer, I had to connect to another wifi network. I have an iPhone 5 and 2010 white MacBook. Once properly connected, this app is very good. Near instant response times and searches your iTunes library like it should. Changing it to 4 stars, if you like fun techy music stuff I recommend it. Just be ready to troubleshoot your connection as that aspect is still buggy.

Decent app

It's a good app and has most the proper functions and capabilities but I feel like they left behind the old djay and moved onto djay 2 (I have both) the remote app is missing a BPM adjuster for whatever reason. Figured that should come with the app since I bought it. I'll give it some time and maybe you guys will come through. Nevertheless it's a good app and so is the mac version of djay.
