8 of 25The NYT is what it is... a purveyor of the old idea of actual facts. The App is garbage. Touch it in the wrong place, accidentally or otherwise, and it scrolls like lightening into a place that takes you a good while to come back from. There's no need for such amateurish App design to frustrate NYT readers, the president's press secretary is perfectly capable of that.

Please please please fix bug that will not allow special articles, magazine, graphics, etc., to be ENLARGED in print size...on an iPad mini it can be impossible to read. Better off on web where one can change formatting.
I always read the news on this app every day, but the jump-scrolling that happens when my finger touches the screen in some forbidden place or for some forbidden time interval is really annoying. It jumps to end of article, and I have to find my way back to where I was reading. They should fix this, as others have said.
I like the newspaper, the app works well - but when reading the news, the last thing I want is to have some ad start playing sound in the background. Knock it off! I'd give this app 5 stars if you drop the annoying ads. I'm paying for this subscription and can't read the news if your app interrupts your own content with an ad.
Sometimes when my eyes are tired and I don’t have my glasses I need to be able to zoom pages to read text. Not possible with this app. You have.to increase the font on the device (not needed fit other apps that CAN zoom) or use the magnifier, Not.sure why they won’t enable zoom.
Gave up on the app and back to the internet to read the paper, where ad blockers control some of the constant distractions.
The NYT app is a constant issue. The app recognizes my subscription in the settings but the Games page does not. The customer service told me to uninstall/reinstall the app. I have done that regularly, and I still have intermittent issues. Then today I tried to uninstall/ reinstall, and it did not come back. I get nothing. Zero. No news at all. 🤯
