8 of 18This and the others in this set are excellent. I keep my Doctors on their toes, instead of them just practicing their profession. My technical questions are taxing, at times, to them, and the visual helps them to refresh, while explaining if it is within their scope of knowledge. If it is out of their scope of knowledge, they will usually avoid my question and I search another source.
This app is really informative. It has labels for different parts of the spinal cord and brain and cool views of everything. However, it doesn't flow as nicely as I hoped it would. Zooming in is double tap rather than pinch and certain areas are hard to pinpoint. Swiping to turn isn't smooth. Also picking particular areas from the index or quiz is flawed. Each time, the app zooms all the way back out before it zooms into the desired location. Kind of annoying. Overall, the app is cool and informative, but certain features could have been made a little better.
Loads intermittently, locks either at title screen or once the app opens. It has worked once out of twenty tries! Looking for a refund.
Compared to the other apps by the same company (like Muscle System Pro III or Skeleton System Pro III) this app is nothing out of this world. Its contents are quite basic, and the interface isn't nearly as great as the other apps... However, this app does stand out from the rest, it helps visualize a few things and has helped me study. I'd suggest you buy it, as 2 dollars is nothing compared to how useful this app can be.
I did not read the description good enough as some of the nerves I was looking for aren't in this program. This is a limited nervous system app, which should be stated more clearly but it's a good app none the less. Was going to give it 3 stars but it was my fault for not reading the description better...
3D manipulation instead of the confined predetermined rotation would make this a far superior app
Going through premed anatomy, and I have to say this app helps immensely for what it is. Very detailed info on origins and pathways, as well as motor and sensory functions. Had to dock a star because it's missing a couple cranial nerves, and it doesn't respond to 2 finger touch zooming. You have to double tap to zoom or rotate in 3D. Good app for $2!
I have learned more than ever with this app. The only thing that I wish they had was pinch to zoom or even moving up and down the body when you are zoomed in, but I can see where that would be difficult.
