Fail!

by Christopher.G. · December 3, 2010

If zero stars was an option, this would get it! This app does not work as it is described in the AppStore.<br/><br/>Bug 1: Pressing the home button closes the app and disables the alarm. FAIL.<br/><br/>Bug2: Custom sound does not stop. You must go to iPod App to pause the sounds.<br/><br/>Annoyance: App startup sounds. There needs to be a way a o disable all of the app sounds with the exception of the alarm. Have fun setting this up in a quiet room. <br/><br/>Tried it. Set for motion detection first. After it armed, i was able to pick up the iPad, shake it, rotate orientation multiple times, put it in my bag and walk out of the office. Only after I vigorously shook the ipad for 10 seconds did it activate the alarm. <br/><br/>Similar outcome for the sound setting in silent office. Armed alarm, set ipad on desk and tried knocking on door, knocking on desk, dropped book next to mic, rubbed mic, knocked on iPad. Clapped hands, even moved the device next to the radio and turned up the volume. No alarm.<br/><br/>Overall, FAIL!

Ok

This app works fine except when I tried to set up the email notification feature. When I set off the alarm I waited a long time and never got and email! I might have not set it up right but It wasn't very clear how to set it up. I would give it five stars if it was easier to set up the email feature and it worked. Otherwise it is fine.

Very cool app, can send email alerts to your phone or other email address if alarm is activated. Very nice user interface and simple to use.

Cool

A pleasant surprise that it works and it remembers my secret password just fine. Too bad the ipad doesn't have a camera. This app would be totally rocking with it.

It forgot my code

Was enjoying this app, thought it a worthy $.99 purchase, but then the 2nd time I tested the alarm, the code I'd set stopped working. Now I can't get into the app at all, because you need the code, which as I mentioned is no longer recognized. <br/><br/>I'm sure this is a simple fix, one I look forward to, but until then this app is all but useless.

Works great!!!

I barely ever write a review for apps but I gotta say this app is great, responsive and does exactly what it says. I work at a restaurant and always have my iPad sitting on the bar. I sometimes I think how easy it would be for someone tom grab it. This app would definitely help with something like this. Great work so far. Can't wait to see some updates :)

Works great, but...

It would be much better if the app worked while the iPad was locked.

Love it but my cat is still undecided

If you want to know if it works, yes it does. My 2 year old cat Lily tipped over my iPad from its cheap case stand causing the alarm to go off. Her reaction was priceless :)
