8 of 25I always wanted to learn how to play the violin but figured I'd missed my chance, and seeing games like Rock Band or Guitar Hero expand to the point that they can give basic instructions on their instruments made me wish there was something like that for violin, and then I found Magic Fiddle, it has a nice learning curve and allows me the ability to pick it up and bang out a song when the mood strikes,

I do have a recommendation for a feature upgrade, in the solo mode would love it so we could construct and trade our own songs, I'm sort of figuring out the Jurassic park theme now and would love to see what other players can do
Come on. I paid $3 for this, expecting that all of the features will come along with the app. I am really disappointed in you guys at Smule.
There is really nothing magical about this fiddle application. Do the developers realize that the violin has FOUR STRINGS, not three? I don't like the crap of having to log on to play with it. I don't like the game playing crap either. I simply want a simulated violin that I can play as I wish and not have to go through a bunch of delays just to mess with it. However, unlike the other violin apps sold on iTunes, this one actually sounds like a violin. So far I have purchased every violin app hoping that I would find one that sounds authentic, and is playable. Well forget it, all of the apps stink, encluding this one!!! I can only recommend this one if you like playing the game. Other than this, dont waste your money on any violin app, they are all crap!!!!!!!
I can't even get past the registration section!!! Why online too?!?!?
This app is lots of fun and great, but it has many bugs. The biggest being you have to re-go through the intro and login screen every time you open the app. This is really annoying and needs to be fixed.
Just bought it within the hour. Has crashed twice and the whole login speech takes forever. Just open to the violin and give the option to NOT share.

It is impressive in its playability for being an app. I would rate higher if it was stable. Ipad2
I played with this for a while and it's really nice an musical. Then I wanted to play it while flying - offline. It wouldn't let get past the login screen. I do not want to log in, and I do not want to be part of the "online community" - all I want is to be able to play.
This is my favorite music app. I've been playing with this "visual fiddle" since the first day it came out. I bought almost every song in this app. Just one word: "Amazing!" You don't have to be a professional musician to own this app. I think it is for all ages and for everyone. As long as you love music, you can play with it. There are many different songs to choose from. Trust me, this is the only app that I'm willing to make in-app purchase. Absolutely LOVE IT. To app developer, please add more songs to the current collection. Thanks!
