I don’t understand, I purchased this app, which is supposed to record while other apps are open. Yet it doesn’t even want to record when it is the only app that is open?

I made the mistake of updating the app, and all the normal functions of the app became in-app purchases. I had already paid for the app and now I had to pay more for the same functionality, ridiculous. Also, the app never really worked the same after that. It used to deliver top-quality audio, with pro controls and recording options; I even used it to record audio for a pro video shoot with a lav mic; it was a great option if you run out of lavs. Unfortunately, I can no longer use it professionally. I switched to TwistedWave, and even the apple voice memos app is pretty good now. I wish this app was what it used to be.

All my files have disappeared from within the app—please help! I once adored this app! I can find no help, but if someone will get in touch and help me get the files back into the app, I will read it five stars. Please can someone help?<br/><br/>I had been using it for songwriting and during vocal harmony rehearsals, for many years (not to mention capturing precious, hilarious moments with my then-young child). <br/><br/>The ability to slow down a recorded piece to half-time, yet maintain pitch, is incredibly handy when trying to determine subtle nuance. This feature has been immensely helpful in deciphering pronunciation and character in language translation of songs, for example. <br/><br/>The image of the vintage-style pro mic is beautiful and professionally satisfying to behold. <br/><br/>Please consider refining the iCloud sync? It would be so efficient to move between devices, launch the app, and access your recordings right there—exactly where you left off. <br/><br/>The only syncing method I can determine is a series of steps: click the right arrow on each individual recording, then click “Share,” select “Save to Files,” then choose iCloud Drive. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, after launching the app on another device, the iCloud-synced recordings do not appear within the app. They’ve disappeared! I had to launch the Files app to see the recordings on iCloud Drive, and click on each one to download them. <br/><br/>But after quitting and re-launching Voice Recorder HD, the downloaded recordings do not appear. I am not really sure what to do, or how to get them to appear in the Voice Recorder HD app on other devices, but I would really love to be able to move between my devices and see the same recordings synced between them. <br/><br/>Thank God the files are safe. but I want to launch them sometimes from within the app, in order to listen. Why have they disappeared? Can you please help me get them back in the app? I can see no logical way for how to make this happen, no “import.”<br/>If this app could be set up to sync seamlessly and automatically with iCloud, just once and done, and especially if my files would also not disappear from within the app, I’d give it 5 stars.

I liked the app that came with my old iPhone 4. This one is more cumbersome, and DOES NOT WORK WITH BLUETOOTH.

Even when my phone is in my pocket I still get great recordings from this app. Easy controls. Consistent performance easily manageable files later.

This app fails to play back over headphones.

Trimming doesn’t work and support and help doesn’t work either. So I purchased the trimming option and can’t use it. The recorder itself works great.
