Gramophone HD

Ok, lets start with the first thing:<br/><br/>the icon... why dont u guys remove the HD label? It looks horrible and spoils the entire experience...<br/><br/>Then the fake sound... All u guys did was ad a repetitive white noise like sound.. Its horrible and it does NOT Make it sound even close to the real thing...<br/><br/>Also, very little is interactive... One would expect to move the needle around and so on...<br/><br/>Last, the animation is POOR and disturbing...<br/><br/>Plus: u guys can add a darker theme... <br/><br/>It has potential, and u guys could have a hit here.. If you guys dont do it, i will, and mine will at least be among the top25 list.. So do it before you someone else does... And maybe Apple staff would recommend...

...however, for it to be an effective eye candy toy the tonearm MUST animate. For the tonearm not to track the course of the record, and hold static, just kills the fun.<br/><br/>The record rotation is good, but I'm a little puzzled by the abrupt break between light and dark on the record's face.<br/><br/>The overall look of the player is very nice and I like how the song titles are displayed.<br/><br/>As far as I am concerned, there is no point getting chintzy over stars for a .99 cent bit of frivolous retro fun. But, until that tonearm animates, three stars is as high as I go.

Love the idea. Better since they fixed some of the bugs...works great now. Would like to see more noise selections and intensities. Also to be able to save a playlist. It's cool!
