8 of 25This is an Awesome program with bum wrap!!<br/><br/>I love this app and would recommend it to anyone but those with little computer knowledge. <br/><br/>For all those people that say this program is not good it is proof that they are absolutely useless on computers and they need to cut the black cord that connects the power to their computers!!<br/><br/>The program works flawlessly!! and there is no sluggishness at all. I did have to make sure my ipad and my computer were on the same network as I have several to chose from where i work. I also had to manually enter my ipad's ip address in the manual connections setting on the desktop and then it connected flawlessly and it was quick and very easy! you will also want to optimize the connection from the desktop app once you are connected to the ipad.<br/><br/>I view live video on the ipad with no lag from the computer if that says anything about how good the app flows over!!<br/><br/>I love this app and would recommend it to anyone but those with little computer knowledge.
Crash, crash, crash. <br/>Worked for one day (so I know it's not me and my system - I also optimized .. Which is dumb, it should just come optimized as standard setting). But has not worked since. iPad screen starts to change to second screen then .. Crash. Then again. Then again.<br/>Don't buy it.<br/>(and there's got to be a way dissatisfied customers can get their money back. All risk is on customer - not on developer to put a good product on the market)
Need to be able to specify in iPad app which "server" is allowed to access it. So if you are in environment where there are multiple iPads with app running your iPad will only connect to your machine not someone else's.
I didn't have high expectations when I bought this app. I thought it would be as laggy as remote connection. After I optimized it, it. Just worked perfectly.<br/><br/>My main purpose is using command bars, if you are programming in Mathematica and have little screen and don't wanna be bothered with the function template, you just send it to your iPads screen, and it works perfectly as if it was an extension of your screen. Otis you are using photoshop you can just use your pad as the control bar, and monitor as the main screen.<br/><br/>I believe this program is not intended for you to movie stream. If all you need is more working space on your computer, this is perfect!
Poor quality, slow response, and no touch feature! Have switched to air display. Don't buy it!
The new screen is REALLY slow and I can't watch videos on it or even go on Facebook without it completely freezing. I tried optimizing it a bunch of times but nothing ever helped. They need a support page that actually gives steps to optimize correctly. I won't be using this very much so it was pretty much a waste. I wouldnt recommend paying 10 dollars for this until they get decent updates that make this somewhat functional.
Installed and tried to optimize for two hours to no resolve. Optimization tool is no help and although an extended display did appear almost immediately, operating any program from the iPad display proved impossible. Display lagged, windows wouldn't maximize, movies wouldn't play (would begin to play on the computer screen only to receive a windows codec error when dragging to ipad display). Website support is geared towards the pro edition (guess again if you think that's what you bought) so most of the options they suggest you manipulate are not available in the app. App should be testable for use and some decent instructions should be provided.
I could see giving it two stars if it were a free app, but a production release with that price tag? With bugs and performance issues like this?<br/><br/>Avoid.
