8 of 25I have used Week Calendar for years, starting with the free version when it first launched, I think. I particularly enjoy the ability to assign icons and calendars to different events on either an automatic or individual basis. This lets me see at a glance which are work appointments and which are personal, leisure, or family. I also rely on the app to synch all my calendars in one place—a particularly useful feature when my workplace has used one system and my household uses another. I’ve never tried the weather feature, but I am thinking of adding that.
Have been using weekcal since the beginning. It only gets worse after every updates. Pushing to purchase upgrades by limiting functions step by step, making it impossible to use if you don’t pay. Recent updates limits the font to only 10pt which is small and only can use the tools(copy&past etc) for 5 times. In general, terrible experience. I would look for alternatives.
Excellent App. Only wish I could show the “scheduled events” before “unscheduled events” in the daily calendar view.
I don’t know what I would do without this app. The built in calendar on my phone is terrible. I love how Week Cal lets you see the whole month at a glance! Sometimes can be a lil glitchy but I’ve used it for years and am in love still. As a freelancer keeping track of bookings is essential and this makes it easy. Thanks guys!
I like this app a lot, especially its list view, which is what I primarily use. However just the base subscription is very expensive for few features. And then the pro version is a little bit more for more features than I even need. Would be nice if there was a smaller base cost and an in between cost with just a few more of the key features included. Going to keep looking and only pay for this if I can’t find something else.
This is my second time having all my appointments wiped out! BEWARE
9/17/24 I have two events from the week of August 19 that somehow periodically keep getting the Rolling Event feature toggled on even though I haven't touched those events for weeks, yet sometimes they appear on the current day. I wonder if a setting to disable or enable that feature entirely could be considered, since it seems a little easy to switch on by accident. Otherwise 4 to 5 stars 👍
Edit: I finally solved my problem. Customer support had reached out to me last time I posted. Nothing they suggested resolved the issue of the calendar not working.
I had added a “Focus” on my iPhone with my name showing on the front screen. Once I removed it. My calendar went back to working correctly.
………………….
I have had this app for years. For years, it was my go to for scheduling my day to day life. No alarms go off. I paid for the “no ad” version years ago.
