OmniFocus for iPad

After two full years of using the suite of Omnifocus apps on desktop, iPad, and iPhone, I now genuinely cannot imagine a workflow without it. Everything from minor recurring to-do items (take out the trash) to major, year-long work projects is captured, sorted, and presented to me in a customizable fashion that allows me to get things done. I spent a long time fiddling with other programs because I was too cheap to invest in this. I regret that waste of time and I would encourage anyone who has a lot to do to go ahead and take the plunge here. Your time is worth it.

I use the iPad version for reviewing my tasks and making sure I stay on task… this is a necessary piece to my arsenal now.

I bit the bullet and invested in this software, thinking maybe it was really worth it. I have noticed that there's a lag whereas other apps like Toodledo actually have REAL background sync. But the dealbreaker for me is reading that they switched their other apps I recently paid way too much for to no longer supporting, instead going to a version 2 that you have to pay for all over again? Fool me once -- but the joke's on you: You've just lost someone who would have been a customer for life and would have open to something like in-app donations. There are way too many other excellent and better apps out there that will do the same thing for much, much less and not screw over their customers. Buh-bye!

Lack thereof.

This app is really long in the tooth. I've been using it since day one, and I've never loved the iPad version of OmniFocus. OmniFocus 2 for iPhone is amazing. Wait until they update the iPad version, because otherwise you'll have to buy it twice.

Pros: strict adherence to GTD methodology, fast syncing. What little it does, it does well.<br/><br/>Cons: limited to outdated GTD system. Huge outlay of money for a very confining system. This update provides cosmetic improvements, and charges a very large price for no new functionality. <br/><br/>Bottom line: I've moved on, as this company charges huge fees for nothing new or groundbreaking.

This app has some pluses, but a major negative is that it is impossible to have recurring tasks based on a particular week of the month, like on the second Monday of each month. That's a big weakness. And based on what others are saying about having to pay again for the &quot;new&quot; version (after shelling out some serious bucks for an iPad and phone version) I am moving on.

i spent lots of money for omni, but only the iphone version is good, mac and ipad version is obsolete and old-fashioned. Pls change it and help it fit to the UI of IOS 7. The IOS8 will come soon in WWDC, Jun, pls hurry hup
