Great start needs more videos for cost

by Matt Brooks · September 18, 2010

I liked the many features and the navigation for the app on the iPhone. Its great how you can read/learn about the specific dinosaur and then proceed to the jigsaw puzzle or memory match. The app needs to have more video content however to engage the younger children. The pictures didn't allow for you to magnify so it was difficult to showcase all the fantastic illustrations (maybe better on iPhone 4 retina?) A few bug/crashes when switching between menus and even when I tried to click the shop button to purchase their other apps(that will probably be fixed first :)! For the cost there is a wealth of information from an excellent reputable source. Please continue to update the app and for primary educators this would be a welcome addition for your unit on dinosaurs.

Inaccurate

A few ok pictures, but the science is inaccurate. I expect a lot more from Britannica

Over priced <br/>$0.99 is more appropriate price for this app. I mean it

Reading age only

This has so much text and NO OPTION for it to read it to you. Disappointing for my 5 year old who can’t read yet. It’s best only for kids who can read and read well.
