8 of 25First, it's moderately offensive that the CLUE brand has been used for this game. Nothing of the original gameplay is present here. If you were attracted by the name, stop and read the description more clearly: this game requires no deduction skills whatsoever.

What it does require is staring at an image for a few seconds and locating the poorly photoshopped objects amidst the exotic scenery. In many cases, the objects stand out as if they had highlighting around the edges. In addition, the game offers you "hints" in the form of a colder-or-hotter object finder that removes any challenge from locating the objects.

All told, it's a bland game with poor execution being sold under a misleading name. Even $1 is better spent elsewhere.
I thought Club Pogo Members got this app free and now it's .99 an episode!!!!!!!!!! I am having the same problem...I bought one episode and completed it....now it says I completed but do not own and have to repurchase! Another Rip off from EA!!
I like this game. You need to restore the purchases every once in a while, but that's no big deal. Also, each time you re-play one of the episodes, you are looking for different objects, so it's like playing a new game. I like the visuals. The story lines I ignore. The final side-by-side comparison game can be challenging, but I don't want a game that's too easy.
This is more like I Spy and less like Clue. I would like to see a game that resembles the classic board game Clue.
Are they greedy or what? Is no one taking a marketing tip from angry birds? 99 cents . . . Per level! Not in my lifetime!
Only now do I notice that the update says the new episodes are available on an on-demand basis. That should be made clear when you're making the actual purchase. I don't have an issue paying to own more episodes that my family can then play, but paying for a one-time game is ridiculous. It looks desperate on the part of EA (and I actually own some of their shares).
I had initially given this game a fairly decent rating. Then, when EA kept us waiting and waiting and waiting for an update--an update promised within the app itself--I lowered my rating with the promise that I would change it when new content was made available. Well, EA has made a liar out of me. I will not give this game a higher rating when the developers decide to milk customers for more money. For those who paid full price for this app, it is a slap in the face to ask for more money. The funny thing is that EA thinks this will make them more money. I suspect, and I hope, all the bad reviews over this greedy decision, will steer people away from buying this app.

This is a bad business move.
I purchased this app when all the EA titles went on sale for Easter, because I love the REAL Clue game. This game is not it.

Think of this game as a really pretty "Where's Waldo" that tries to be a game but just isn't there.

Beware: the app keeps crashing in mid-play and your savings for that "board" are not saved when it does. Also, there are only a few game boards that you can play with the initial purchase. For more boards you have to do an in-app purchase.

In summary, I wouldn't buy this title again.
