TwistedWave Audio Editor

This app did not have a try-before-you-buy option, but there is a web based app of the same name. I need to create many many dozens of ambient loops with crossfades, ideally on my iOS device. The web version has a “crossfade-loop” feature where you can have the loaded file crossfade up to 10 seconds. It’s a three step process on the web app; trim the front, trim the back, add crossfade and done. Seamless ambient loop with nice crossfade. Next.<br/><br/>This app does NOT have that feature at all. It was the whole reason I was willing to spend $9.99 on this app, a quick easy crossfade. NOT on this app. Really bummed. All features work fine, just missing the ONE feature I wanted. Not sure if I have a use for this app since AudioShare can trim and fade. <br/><br/>If you don’t have any audio editor, this is great, uses all your iOS audio plugins too. Sadly, I already have AudioShare and AUM and get features there that are redundant here. Just need that crossfade-loop feature. For some weird reason, this crossfade-loop feature is hard to find on iOS.

I purchased for $9.99 what I thought would unlock the app so that I could Share it , but instead was directed to the TW Editor. So I tried exporting the TW recordings to the TW Editor and nothing imported. My TW is still locked with my music recordings. Help!

I use this app every week to edit and upload audio for my church’s podcast. It’s so quick, I can do it while on my 15 min break at my day job.

I use the loop function to help me get off book. I recommend it to my acting students and colleagues.

I love this app, it’s so easy to use on iPhone. I use this to edit our church services. I record on a usb stick plugged in to our X32, then I plug the usb into my iPhone and I can edit the audio anytime I want. It can edit 2 hour+ files with ease. 6 stars!

Wonderful! Simply a wonderful audio editing solution. I can create loops to practice to, I can transpose and slow audio down. Great. One minor issue: it fades in the beginning of audio which creates a problem because sometimes I create tracks that have a count in click and it might just play only one click or 3 out of a 4 click count In…so I’m not sure when to come in. I can’t find how to disable the fade in feature, but still the app is great for working with audio tracks.

Where to start TwistedWave is amazingly good over these last few years it’s been my best friend everything about it just feels right hands down my favorite app for iOS of all time I’ve made so many edits and mixes . I switched to android for a bit and I kept telling myself man I wish I had TwistedWave on android after timeless hours of tryna find something similar I couldn’t . Thank you guys for making the best audio editor imo easiest and best feeling ui. Never have I wrote a review but u guys deserve it 5 stars

This app is amazing. I was looking for something to compete with Audacity on-the-go, and this app fits the bill perfectly. The app is extremely stable &amp; feature-rich. It has all the essentials you’d expect, can handle small and MASSIVE audio lengths alike, NEVER crashes, in-depth edit history… the list goes on.<br/><br/>And the best part? No in-app purchases! No upselling! Constant updates and bug fixes! More developers should strive to make great paid apps as good as TwistedWave. This app should be more popular.
