Wow, not bad. I didn't test against any scientific instrumentation but but out of the box, it's simplicity and repeatability impressed me. I intend to do some further testing only because it warrants it. An iPhone/iPad Touch version would be awesome (hint,hint, wink, wink). Altitude didn't register a value.

By moving around my iPad I managed to get it to point to north and settle there in just about every direction. I was also amazed, whilst sitting at my desk at home I was moving at 14mph.<br/><br/>It's not so much the .99c that annoys me about these crap apps, it's that Apple don't seem to care how much their customers are ripped off.<br/><br/>I believe every app should have a 24 hour test time before purchase. There would be way less fake apps being downloaded.
