8 of 16Old app was better. It would be nice to be able to read it in horizontal view on IPad. Stories load slowly and sometimes not at all.
Since Post media changed to subscription only I bought the subscription. I hate the new app. It is difficult to see a summary of the stories and then to go to the next one I am always having to toggle back and forth. Then to go between various post media “papers sometimes does not work and I have reenter the login info yet again. They better do some fixes soon otherwise the subscription price is not worth it and a refund/cancellation is needed.
Although it appears to allow downloading of the paper for off-line reading it does not function properly. Emails to support go unanswered.
Mobile gadgets have smaller screen the ads should be proportional. As it is it looks like the ads take a fifth of the screen, imagine a newspaper with such a larger ad in every page ... Too distracting. Better read news elsewhere .
Removing the app when I finish writing this post
Best news app by far!
The app cannot tell whether I have a subscription or not. It says it is giving me ten free articles, then asks me to sign in. I do and I am told I do not have a subscription. I go to settings and I am told that the exact same sign in info has an active subscription. Ridiculous!
Why can't this app be corrected even after so many "updates"? If you download news to be read in airplane mode later on, no articles appear - its as if all stories are totally erased from the app. Still no audio on iP5 video playback.
Great app, but gets one star because of the huge footprint the air Canada ad take at the foot.
Too much geography and spoils an otherwise good app.
Typical air Canada arrogance in advertising
