Marine: Australasia&Africa HD

I have had the Iphone app for years and love it, but, in the original Iphone app, all the charts downloaded at once. I read the reviews on this before I bought it and also called Navionics to ask about the manual downloading of the charts. I use this in the open ocean and remote areas in SE Asia, I cannot just download a new chart if it is not there. So far I have spent the last day downloading charts, and looks like it will take several more to finish This is a great app, but plan to spend a lot of manual labor to download the charts if you need to cover a wide region as it only allows you to download a small area at a time and there is no facility to "download all charts" or "Download Thailand and coastal water" etc...

This is a great app and I use it almost daily for work. But please increase the number of markers that can be created (only 200), why not unlimited?? Also can you please add a Dive Flag Marker....we all pay a lot of money for this app and would expect these basics are covered.<br/><br/>Thanks

This app used to be Australasia and it cost a lot 75$ or so. I paid the price and I really don't appreciate having Australia and New Zealand removed in the new version. I already paid for them along with Asia and Africa. Yes the price of the information may have gone up in Australia and New Zealand but just ripping it out and not giving us any discount on the new versions or giving us a rebate for the removal is raw. I may not be using them right now but I did pay for them. And what makes you think I want Asia and Africa as opposed to Asia and Australia and New Zealand? I suppose this will happen to any other maps I buy from Navionics which will really make me hesitant to buy any more.

The &quot;new&quot; in version 4.3 is that you will LOOSE Australia and New Zealand. I purchased this application specifically for Australia, and after the update my money went up in smoke. Is interesting how some companies can charge you for something, and then take it away. Yes, I know, I can buy another $38.00 app for Australia. Where is the guarantee that Navionics will keep the promised area the same?<br/>I have almost every single Navionics app. I am delivery captain and I use them all the time. Great charts but this &quot;update&quot; made me fill cheated. <br/>Make sure you load all Australia and New Zealand charts before you upgrade to 4.3. Any loaded chart data before the update will remain live. With the update you will loose the ability to get detailed charts for the above mentioned areas.

This app makes you download little sections of the map at a time. God help you if you did not download some island before you leave the dock.<br/><br/>This is a Marine app, it should assume long periods with no Internet connection. You should be able to download the app all at once!
