8 of 25Check out the review from heathegraphics on Aug 3. I’ve been through the same issues and it’s getting worse. Too bad, because I watch my iPad more than the TV. Other apps (Pluto, Peacock, etc) work fine so I’ve been using them more and more.
Along with all of the other problems posted by others, the “Watch On iPad” feature never works. Absolutely terrible app, which is not a surprise given the company that provides it (Optimum) and their history of horrible customer service.
App freezes frequently on all channels and gives error message that it is “temporarily unavailable “.
This app stopped working a few weeks/months ago. What happened, was it replaced with another app? Optimum advertises that we can watch it anywhere, but that is no longer the case. Will we get a rebate for the loss of this feature?
Barely any volume, and won’t play through Bluetooth.
Nine months and no updates. I can’t wait until my building gets 👏🏽ANYTHING 👏🏽ELSE 👏🏽BESIDES 👏🏽OPTIMUM!
Times out consistently after only a few minutes. Re-downloading the app and resetting the iPad doesn't work anymore...Works about as good as their cable system, unfortunately. Check out Verizon's 185,000+ positive ratings, as opposed to Optimums 600+ negative ratings..I think that says it all. They should have state-of-the-art everything for charging over $250/mo. Just saying.
Definitely the worst app ever! Over the years it has deteriorated. They don't care; they get away with it. The app should be easier to use than programming on the tv itself, but not if it crashes all the time. AND it does; they both do - the Ipad app and the On TV Programming. I've tried reinstalling the app and it just gets worse. Over the years their access has just gotten worse and worse. So, if you have Optimum you probably will get the app and you will join the Worst App in the World club 😰😰😰.
