So many upsells

by Techstar01 · October 7, 2025

I’ll let it have two stars because of the deals, but the app experience is so miserable because of all the upsells. No, I don’t want to add X, Y, and Z to my order. No I don’t want to join your email list. And I’m definitely not signing up for the “cash back” that’s actually just an exorbitantly priced subscription. It’s spammier than Uber Eats… I never thought that was possible.

Shame on you Dominos

I ordered a pizza from this location that was never delivered, yet my card was charged.
For over an hour, I have been trapped in an incredibly frustrating customer service loop:
The App's "Solution": I tried using the delivery notification in the app to report the missing food. After forcing me through a thousand questions, it gave me two options for my "concern": a free medium pizza or 20% off my next order. I haven't even received my initial pizza—how does offering a discount on a future order make any sense? How does paying for food and receiving nothing make any sense?
The Bot: When I pushed past that, the bot simply told me someone would eventually contact me.
The Phone Loop: Out of options, I called from a different phone number and pretended to place a new order. Unsurprisingly, someone answered in less than two minutes. But as soon as that representative transferred me to the store to fix my actual issue, I was left on hold for another 30 minutes.
The customer service here is a joke, and they clearly only prioritize answering the phone when they think they are getting new money. At this point, I just want a full refund. I will never risk ordering from this location—or any other Domino's—ever again. SMH.
