Very simple interface that is clean. Needs syncing between devices!!

Crispy

It's clean, elegant and a pleasure to use. I'm more motivated to make good use out of it because it is so clean. Simple enough to just start using without much more learning other than just getting used to, yet not oversimplified.

Not what I expected

I have MoneyBook which I use to keep track of my blow money and I thought I'd use this app to keep track of all my expenses and my income. Well, if it does that I have no idea. I've had the app since day one and haven't figured out how to use it. It's very confusing. I've given up on trying. I just hope they make a major update making it usable and syncs with MoneyBook.

In the meantime it would be great if the developer created some tutorial videos on how to use the software. Or drop BudgetBook and make an awesome desktop app that keeps track of all your expenses and syncs with MoneyBook.

Don't recommend

It sounds great and looks good, but it's so complicated! I thought it was a normal budget app, where I could input my income and my spending and it would show what I have left to work with, but not at all, there are free apps that are much better than this. Don't waste your money! :( very dissatisfied.

Great App!!!!

This is a incredible app!
It organizes all your money on a screen so it is easier to know what your budget is!!!!

Worth every penny!

Confusing

I was hopeful with this app but find it very confusing. It comes with no guidance at all. Can't tell how to designate expense from income, can't enter quarterly payments, can't see reports. Frankly, this is just a mystery app.

Was not what I expected.

Over the past two years I have been an avid user of MoneyBook for iPhone. The simplicity of it was astonishing and the versatility of the web tools and baked-in functionality has made it my main and only checkbook. The only problem is that MoneyBook doesn't support multiple accounts. When I found out that the same company came out with an iPad app that did support multiple accounts I was ecstatic!

Turns out that this is nothing like MoneyBook. Where the iPhone app was nearly complete on its own, this app is lacking in quite a few areas. The user interface is very cluttered and not as natural as it is in the MoneyBook app. There is no backup at all. There is no connection to the history of purchases I've compiled throughout the years with their other app. I've been left very underwhelmed.

Whereas I was expecting an evolution of the MoneyBook app, I ended up getting only a fresh app that only drew inspiration from it. I can only hope that this gets to another place in the near future.

Useful but needs sync!

Very helpful, easy, and best of all not confusing! Would give it five stars if I could add expenses on my iPhone on the go, and sync between devices!!!
