8 of 25This is a five star game, but with all the problems, ads, unrealistic super weapon trajectories, obvious AI knowledge of ship positions, a lack of more advancement ranks, difficult to obtain super weapons, and several other factors, I'd give it one star because I can't find a way to give it any less beyond voicing my opinions.

1. Ads: If I paid money for an app, I don't want to see any ads. Please get rid of them.

2. Super Weapons: The trajectory on the torpedo super weapon is deplorable. Only a defective torpedo would be fired, miss hitting an enemy ship, and then turn around and proceed to travel back through the playing field of the person who fired it. It's called friendly fire, and it's something you want to avoid, so fixing here would be great. Also the super weapons obtained by hitting five ships with a single salvo or by not losing a single ship is impossible when you have an AI who knows where your ships are at and almost always scores a hit on the first turn. Find a way to fix this problem or at least make them available for purchase. Plus, adding more super weapons and allowing for the use of more than just three super weapons would be nice. Another idea would be to allow for the "Sky Sword" to be used more than once depending on the other super weapons you choose, or even make it possible to be the only super weapon you use with unlimited uses when it is.

3. Lack of more advancement ranks: Having a ceiling on the highest rank you can obtain in the game is odd. Yes, in real life you can only advance so far in your rank, but this isn't real life, so adding a few more ranks can create a lot more fun. Also adding more awards for possible new ranks couldn't include a larger playing field, more ships (in all playing modes), more powerful super weapons, being able to use the "Sky Sword" more than once, etc.

4. AI knowledge of ship position: Two words…NOT COOL! If your going to have the AI be so knowledgable of ship positions, then having super weapons which can only be obtained by five hits in a single salvo or not losing a single ship in a single game is unrealistic. Fix it, make it more like how a human would think or at least add in difficulty modes like amateur, novice, beginner, intermediate, experienced, expert, and master. Having the AI have the intelligence of a genius is unfair and makes the game not worth playing unless it's in Multi-player mode.

Fix these things, and I would be more inclined to give a better rating, but as it stands, this app isn't even worth half a star.
This game is a lot of fun to play, with multi-game options and player to player. Needs updates for Game Center and online player options. Come on EA, update already.....
Fun game but the iPhone version is much better then iPad version. The graphics are lacking.
The gameplay is pretty good. The AI is easy to beat. It would get 4 stars except for the stupid ads. This is a disappointment in a paid app. The pop ups every time you load sometimes break the UI. Not acceptable.
Can't connect Bluetooth or wifi when in ios7?
All it needs is better graphics
Graphics are great, no ads, well done. However, the game I used to play allowed five shots each time, rather than the one this game gives you. As the computer sank your ships or you sank theirs, each sunk ship would decrease the number of shots allowed by one. My playing this game against the computer with one shot each per turn takes FOREVER!
Last update was in 2011. Graphics show their age. Any chance to see an update for this expensive app?
