Xero Accounting

Their product is ok, not as good as QBO. Their price used to be the selling point. but now after raising prices every year, they no longer have any selling point. Planning to move over to QBO, And I’m telling all my friends on social media to do the same.

After repeated attempts to, access account, contact support, etc etc. was unable to recieve ANY adequate support, leave messages, request help etc etc. worst experience I have had with any higher level company or software. My advice? avoid this sofware solution, save your time and efforts. Do research to find a solution that has humans available in the support department. Xero seems to rely heavily on hard to follow - how to videos and articles. Was this a decision by the developers to shift user/subscriber time into thier profit pocket? If you like DIY solutions give it a try. good luck.

The desktop version is great. The mobile version is good. The only small feature that needs to be improved on the mobile version is the speed on creating purchases.

I can’t even log in to the app. The keyboard does not show.

Xero is a pretty basic accounting software program, with easy enough to use features. My accountant likes it. But I am absolutely done with this company. They have absolutely no respect for their customers and continue to raise rates at an absurd rate. Since I started using them in July 2022, they have raised their prices 3 times (October 2022, October 2023, and will be again in July 2024), totaling an increase of $34/month in just two years for my specific plan. That’s $408 extra per year. But don’t worry, their stock is thriving. Goodbye greedy fools. Quickbooks and MYOB is looking real good right about now.

Can’t even start using this on your phone. It has to be set up on a PC

I cannot stress enough how annoying this app is. I don’t work at the fuxking pentagon. I don’t need 5 layers or security to upload a taxi receipt. They do stop shy of asking for your social security and making you do 50 burpees<br/>so that’s good.

They collect your data, make it difficult or maybe impossible to close your account and delete your data. No delete button, no customer service. Hint: you have to read an unrelated self help article to even be allowed to email a robot about your delete request. Seems like they are trying real hard to make you give up. Easier to cancel your credit card.
