A Little Better

by T-lo man · July 13, 2012

I'm giving this game an extra star, for the simple fact the latest update made the font easier to understand and less if a pain to read. My original review still stands though there are much better strategy apps.

North and South

Like the original, but using a touch screen makes it difficult to see what you are aiming at while you shoot. Difficult to control armies during battle.

not universal

by Mr.Dutchie · May 29, 2012

Just bought this, saying it's universal... but it's NOT!!. and when i refresh, it's replaced for a new version, that you have to buy again.... what it up with that

Really bad

Hard to see anything, fonts look weird, terrible controls. Bad all around

A good remake of the original

by Tesrson16 · May 13, 2012

The game is very fun, a few technical problems to work out, but otherwise runs great on iPhone 4

Good game

Good game but needs campaign mode from beginning if war to the end

Buggy -- iPad version is the other one in the app store

by Prof Todd · May 13, 2012

I loved playing this game on the commodore Amiga and Atari st and had to play it again on my iPad. (which is the other one in the app store) Unfortunately the game routinely crashes. While the game does save state every human player turn, it needs to save state at the end of every turn, or encounter. It's just too frustrating to play otherwise.

Great remake

by SuperSloth · December 26, 2012

I live playing the original and this remake stays pretty true. For the price it's worth it for a stroll down memory lane.

Please fix the achievements. They seem to reset all the time. I've gone from having 13 to 0 to 10 and now 4. Not sure why I'm losing achievements.
