Piano tuner

I do not recommend this app, it doesn't have a legitimate equal temperament.

Awful

I do not recommend this app. Every time I launch it goes through a long involved procedure of teaching you how to use it which would've been nice the first time but then it just does it every time you launch it so it's pretty useless

Good tool for general tuning

Tested on several instruments and worked well, except it does not have temperment on octaves

Last year I sent the fee that turns off the frustration time waster so I could play with this.
This ap made my iPad get hot and drained the battery real fast. Next, I found that using this didn’t work better than a cheap tuner and in fact what you discover is that you waste all your time finding out that you can’t make the custom extra features work. My I pad has only 16 gig and I needed space, the app is fun to play with but in a practical sense, it’s useless. Took the app off my iPad thinking if I wanted to play with it someday I’d load it in again. That’s fine except the “premium” I paid doesn’t stay with the app, you have to buy it again. Again, the ONLY thing the $5 did was remove the time waster it did NOT make the custom functions work. I think the seller believes that lots of sellers abuse people so he does too.
I put the app back in today to compare it to the accuracy of my Peterson StroboPlus HD. I can actually tune with the Peterson. Granted, the Peterson is the real deal but it cost a lot too. When this app indicated a sharp pitch the Peterson indicated the same pitch as flat - whatever that means. One star because WE are paying him to do the testing and because nothings changed with the features. However, same I have the same iPad and it didn’t heat up nor the battery discharge.

Saving user temperament?

Nice tuner app. I could not find a way to save the user temperament? Is there a way to do this? Looks like you can save a user temperament in the paid version. I upgraded to the paid version.

Great for piano tuning

Great easy to use app. Even comes with a few temperament settings. Dealt with inharmonicity well.

Great

I bought this about 7 years ago. It was pretty good, then they made improvements. Now it’s great. I started tuning the piano at my gig. It was always going out. People were impressed on how well app work they started asking me to tune their pianos. Now I tune pianos on the side, this app made me money. This is by far the best app I’ve ever bought. It uses your battery life real fast so I make sure I plug it in.

Crashes under iOS 11.4.1

Nuff said. Won’t buy the paid version if the free version crashes
