I love the Forever Lost series. It’s smart, fun, challenging without being impossible. However, I re-entered the IPad “inception” game and went into the dark barn a 2nd time to get a puzzle piece and now there’s no way out. I really don’t want to start over. I sent an email for help, but no reply. Guess I’ll look for a new game.
We played The Room and Da Vinci series and wanted to find something similar, but had high expectations. This series was amazing. By Episode 3 we kept saying how great it was. If you love puzzle games this is MUST!
You need to know Algebra to solve the 4 doors puzzle? How stupid. Its a game, not a test of math skills. Then you have to wait for a count of 100 to continue. We know which end of the horse created this.<br/><br/>I happily deleted the game and moved on.
I loved this game so much! I got it last night and have already finished the entire story, and I’m currently downloading episode 2.<br/>The game has a really good plot and story it had the perfect amount of puzzling but also easy things to level it out my favorite room was probably the nursery (idk why, it’s so creepy lol) I suggest anyone reading this review downloads it if they’re thinking it might look bad. My only issue with this game is that when I used the UV light I couldn’t move it around but when I watched a walkthrough they could. I’m assuming this is just because the game is old but it really needs to be fixed because since this was an issue for me I couldn’t solve the symbol puzzle where you push them in down inside of the guard room. Other then that this was an amazing game and worth the money definitely deserves the 4 stars.
I can’t believe this game doesn’t have more reviews, it is easily one of the best adventure escape style games I’ve played. I found it through an article “Best Adventure Games for iPad” and took a chance on it. I really enjoyed it. There are a couple of red herrings here and there which are tricky, but this really took me back to the adventure game way of thinking. Fantastic!
For the price, it’s an excellent value proposition. Plays kind of like Myst and other classic adventure games. The puzzles are fun and challenging; it’s a good way to spend an hour or two.
If you're reading this, hit download. This is a seminal game (series) that is under-downloaded and under-discussed. <br/><br/>A very small (2-man) team built a great puzzler. Some real headscratchers. It's a worthy entry to the legacy Myst created. The Room, House of Da Vinci, etc.<br/><br/>I completed #1 (this game) without hints. For #2 I needed a few hints. I play without sound and skip past all the story/lore-building/reading, which made a few puzzles unsolvable for me without hints.<br/><br/>Out of the box thinking required. Really just an impressive and difficult (comparatively) escape puzzler that the devs should feel proud of building.<br/><br/>⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
