8 of 15This app has potential, but needs some improvements. The gameplay is quite good, but graphics are horrible. Controls are also too difficult for me. I think it can be a great game but it needs more work.
I won't say the game is bad, but I'd definitely like to see errrr graphics
This app has difficult controls to move around and I really didn't catch on to the rules of the game. There is a tutorial but it is not that easy to follow and apply.
One of my first beloved games was balder dash on my Atari computer when I was kid. I played it like crazy. It was awesome. I'd love to play the original version but this isn't going to get me there.

This game failed in recreating even a retro version of the game for two reasons.

1. The controls are simple horrible. If you can't control your character in any game with precision, the game will be frustrating to play. This version is unplayable. Good developers would never release a game in this state.

2. The character in the retro version is not right. They should have been faithful to the original.

Developers.. For love of the original, at minimum fix the control issues.
Boulder Dash-XL is a remake on the old arcade puzzler. The graphics are a great mix of retro and polished with entertaining gameplay. I barely remember the arcade game, but this was a nice game with a more current technological feel. You begin by choosing one of two cute little monster characters. From there, try to collect 3 stars on each level by collecting enough crystals to open the exit, and then find your way out. Avoid and interact with all sorts of creatures and items along the way. There are 5 different puzzle modes to keep you entertained. The only suggestion I can make for improvement is the controls; they can be difficult to manipulate. Although the price may be slightly high, this is a well developed game that will not disappoint.
This app is okay and fun to play, but it's way too expensive and definitely not worth getting at its current price. It needs a bit of work and a lower price to be worth it.
Pretty good game. The controls work well, and its pretty original. It can get addictive as well. The game is faily simple tho with graphics that could be improved upon.
There are some important improvement that really need to be made: The quality of the graphics could be better, it's really hard to control and move. But also an important point is that, I think this app is quite expensive for that what it actually is at the moment.
