Unreal how cool

The guys from sonic state were right! This is one awesome synth! If you dig stuff like pulsing old school sequences and fat huge synth sounds that are all nested in the coolest interface ever ..!look no farther one of my personal favorites for sure! Peace christo

Bring it back

This is a great synth and needs revived

I'm so glad this exists, and now it has proper ring modulation!

This thing costs six dollar, but it is GOD compared to Sunrizer and Magellan. It's like an Alesis Ion, but it is only monotimbral (unfortunately). Three oscillators, 6 LFOs, 9 EGs, 2 filters, and a flexible arpeggiator! Did I forget to mention that it also has two oscillator syncs and ring modulators? There are even unique things such as waeshapers, 8 bit waveforms, and FM is now a waveform. That's right, you have up to six operators of FM synthesis! Not only the specs are insane, but it sounds very modern and unique. It sounds so awesome and plays so awesome that I keep coming back to this app. The funny thing about this app is that it took about three years for someone to notice that the ring modulators were not working properly. The only one that noticed this problem was me. I thought the ring modulators were simply oscillator mixers until I contacted Cassini about the problem, and they figured out what caused it. Now I can use it properly! Also,

Exellente !

Sounds great ! Love the interface and the 80s vibe...

One of the best iOS synths out there

by AvengerPod · December 1, 2016

There are so many great iOS synths (such as Sunrizer for supersaw or Magellan for dual-layer patches or Thor for all your Reason patches or Animoog for poly aftertouch...) but I've made dozens (50+) of patches on Cassini because of its reasonably friendly user interface and its winning architecture: it's basically a subtractive synth with three oscillators (which can also be FM pairs), a programmable arpeggiator, and a delay. Layering saw/square/PWM/FM gives all sorts of great sound capabilities, and there are a bunch of LFOs and envelopes. Although you can do the most of this (and more, for example phase distortion and supersaws) with Thor, Cassini sounds great and is easy to use. It's one of my go-to synths on iOS that I keep coming back to. The arpeggiator makes it great to play live as well. My only complaint is having to buy it twice for iPad and iPhone - you'll really want it on both platforms so you can have it in your pocket. Oh, and I wish it accepted polyphonic aftertouch...

Well done!

It's a versatile synth with lots of power and flexibility. 3 Osc, and multi LFOs, Envelopes etc. Excellent delay effect.
My only demurs are small, the patch list always resets to the beginning as opposed to where you left off. The signal path could use some more complexity.
Otherwise, very nice sounds and easy to use!

Best synth

Still my absolute favorite synth in the iOS realm. Sounds incredible, programming is a breeze, and playing is a joy.

My only request would be for an AU update! Perhaps that isn’t feasible given the age of the synth, but if it happened I have no doubt Casini would end up on all my tracks.

Solid

Still improving after all this time. iOS "classic"
This one surprised me – a very capable synth for a wide variety of uses, with better than average envelope controls, LFO control, routing options, and arp sequencer. This thing has a "step sequenced LFO option and both Oscillator & LFO wave shaping for every source wave type.
