8 of 15The art style alone makes Astro Shark incredibly cute, and the story between a dog and a shark (who looks more like a whale to me...) is endearing.

That being said, the story is also seemingly absent: after the initial video you meet some... animals in space, why they're there I have no clue, and you're apparently being fired upon by rockets coming from... I have no idea.

The latest update seems to have tweaked the difficulty to be less hard than before, but it still remains quite difficult. There's just a sense of randomness when a rocket is incoming or a deadly environmental object is around: it feels like some deaths are completely unavoidable.

It doesn't help, either, that a hacker has given him/herself the highest score possible on each level and thus stands at #1 on all levels' leaderboard.

It feels like there's something to be said when looking at how many people have successfully completed each planet (based on the total number on each leaderboard) and it diminishes greatly as you go from one to the next...
It's good,but makes you mad!
Nice concept
I'm very disappointed that no matter what I do, this app keeps crashing. Yes, I shut down the iPad (v1) to clear the cache, even restarted it several times, to no avail. It looks like an interesting game, but clearly it wasn't adequately tested on "older" hardware. (How ironic that we are calling the iPad v1 "older"!)
This "game" won't even load on my ipod touch 4th gen. Don't waste your money. What a piece of GARBAGE!!!!
And it's STILL ON YOUR STOREFRONT!!
wHY ARE YOU SELLING THIS PEICE OF???
The beautiful graphics, physics, and soundtrack are great and I can tell a lot of care went into making this game. Gameplay is addictive, too...in a good way.
Nice graphics but makes you dizzy.
Like most iOS users, games are meant to be played in short periods. This game gives fills my need for a quick fix. It can be a little difficult at first but once you get the hang of it, you will be great. Graphics are beautiful as well.
